When I was researching what it was like to be a Videogame Tester I found out many surprising things. Like how much computer programing they need to know.
Just like the name suggests a videogame tester tests games!
A lot ofpeople, including myself, thought videogame testing would just be testing games but it's much more than that. You need a lot of coding experience and teamwork skills. Teamwork is a bit easier to work on but coding, especially advanced coding could take a whilt to master.
If you're not good at coding and computer programing you wont be able to become a videogame tester. You need to be able to identify a glitch and how to fix it but if you can't do that you can't be an effective gamer.
